1. Log in to your account and enter the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal
Log in to the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. You may do this either on your mobile phone or computer. The portal is also available through the Chase Mobile® app. Once you’ve logged in, you should be able to view your points and the dashboard.
2. Within the portal, access the points transfer section
In the portal, navigate to the section of the menu related to points transfers to travel partners. This should direct you to a page where you can view all eligible travel partners for points transfers.
3. Choose your transfer partner
Next, select the hotel or airline partner you want to transfer your points to. Enter the number of points you want to transfer in increments of 1,000.
If you’re redeeming your points for an award ticket/stay, make sure the award is available. You may want to call the airline or hotel and find out how many miles/points you will need to transfer.
Note: If you don’t have an account set up with the travel partner you chose, you may have to go to the travel partner webpage to create a loyalty account prior to transferring points.
4. Confirm the transfer
Next, you’ll need to confirm your transfer and visit your chosen partner’s website to book travel. To do this, complete the transfer process within Ultimate Rewards and hit confirm/submit.
Keep in mind: The name on your Chase account needs to match the name on your frequent partner program account you are transferring to. Even minor variations could result in transfer failure. For help changing your name on file, you may need to contact the partner loyalty program directly.
