Frequently asked questions

  • Visit your state’s Motor Vehicles office or official website for driver’s licenses and car titles
  • Go to SSA.govOpens overlay or call 1-800-772-1213 to request a replacement Social Security card
  • For birth certificates, marriage licenses, or other vital records, check your state’s health department or CDCOpens overlay’s records portal
  • If it’s safe, try ATMs at Chase branches or partner networks, we may waive fees in impacted areas
  • When stores are open and accepting debit cards, you may be able to request cash back with a purchase
  • If your debit card is lost or damaged, call 1-800-254-7713 and we’ll work with you on a solution
  • Some disaster relief centers (like FEMAOpens overlay or Red Cross sheltersOpens overlay) may offer financial aid or prepaid cards
  • Digital wallets (like Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, Samsung Pay, PayPal and Paze®) can help you make payments even if you don’t have your physical cards

In FEMA declared Individual Assistance areas, we'll automatically waive or refund overdraft, monthly service and ATM fees we charge on consumer checking and saving accounts.

When it is safe, we will post a sign at the impacted branch with instructions on how to access your safe deposit box. If it is not safe or possible to visit the branch, please call 1-800-935-9935.
