What’s even better than earning Chase Ultimate Rewards® points on hotel stays, flights and cruises booked through Chase Travel? Earning loyalty rewards from your hotel, airline or cruise line at the same time. Loyalty Plus℠ means that you can book once and earn twice on your next trip.

      What Is Loyalty Plus?

With Loyalty Plus, eligible cardmembers earn loyalty rewards on flights, cruises and stays with select hotel brands plus Ultimate Rewards points when they book through Chase Travel. Hotel, airline and cruise program rules apply. All cards that are Chase Travel-eligible can earn twice on flight and cruise bookings. Specific cards can earn twice when booking select hotels (see list below).

How to Earn Airline Loyalty Points Through Chase Travel

All airlines available to book via Chase Travel that have loyalty programs are included in Loyalty Plus, so if you’re a member of an airline’s loyalty program, simply book your next flight with your Chase Travel-eligible card through Chase Travel. Enter your airline loyalty number during booking or save it to your Trip Profile. Fare class and route exclusions may apply as they would when booking directly with airlines.

For example, if you’re a Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardmember and a United MileagePlus® member, you’ll earn both MileagePlus miles and 8x Ultimate Rewards points when you book an eligible journey through Chase Travel. You’ve booked one flight, but earned rewards from two programs.

Keep in mind that you can also book your flight partially or entirely with Ultimate Rewards points and still earn through the airline’s loyalty program. For instance, if you’re a member of United Airlines’s MileagePlus program and you pay for your flight with Ultimate Rewards points, you’ll also earn your miles from United when you book through Chase Travel.

How to Earn Hotel Loyalty Points With Chase Travel

If you’re an eligible cardmember, you earn Ultimate Rewards points when you book hotels through Chase Travel. And if you belong to the loyalty program of select hotels, you can also earn loyalty rewards and points when you book through Chase Travel.

The following cards qualify for Loyalty Plus when booking select hotels:

      • J.P. Morgan Reserve®
      • Chase Sapphire Reserve
      • Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠
      • Chase Sapphire Preferred®
      • Chase Ink Preferred®
      • Chase Ink Plus®
      • Chase Freedom®

Eligible properties from major brands around the world qualify to provide hotel loyalty program benefits when booked through Chase Travel—and the number of eligible properties continues to grow.

Brands with properties that may qualify for Loyalty Plus include:

      • IHG® Hotels and Resorts: This includes brands like InterContinental, Regent, Kimpton and more
      • Montage Hotels & Resorts
      • Pendry Hotels & Resorts
      • Omni Hotels & Resorts
      • Virgin Hotels
      • Minor Hotel Group: This includes the NH Collection and Anantara brands
      • Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts

Not all properties within participating brands qualify. To identify a qualifying property, simply look for the “Eligible for Loyalty Plus” or rewards program banner in your Chase Travel search results. Just make sure to add your hotel loyalty number to your Trip Profile, or add it during the booking process. For hotels, the front desk will award your points and benefits when you check in. To ensure your loyalty number has been applied to the reservation, confirm with the front desk upon arrival.

For example, if you use your Sapphire Preferred card to book Miami’s Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel by IHG through Chase Travel and you’re an IHG® Platinum Elite member, you’ll earn both Ultimate Rewards points and IHG One Rewards points. Plus, as part of your IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite benefits, you could enjoy early check-in and late 2 p.m. checkout, subject to availability; a welcome amenity; and an upgrade, if available. Just look for the “IHG One Rewards Eligible” banner in the Chase Travel search results, and make sure to add your hotel loyalty number at checkout.

Finally, if you have elite status within the hotel’s loyalty program, you’ll also be eligible to receive your benefits and rewards during your stay. Even Points Boost bookings—and all points redemptions—are eligible to earn hotel loyalty points.

How to Earn Hotel Loyalty Points With The Edit by Chase Travel®

While all Chase Sapphire cardmembers can earn hotel loyalty points when booking an eligible hotel through Chase Travel, Sapphire Reserve cardmembers also have access to The Edit, a collection of hand-picked hotels and resorts where they can unlock even more rewards.

Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can earn Ultimate Rewards points and hotel loyalty benefits for select hotels in The Edit that also belong to a brand with its own loyalty program. For example, Reserve cardmembers who book Accor properties that are in The Edit (such as the Banyan Tree Samui and Raffles London at The OWO) can earn Ultimate Rewards and Accor Live Limitless points with each booking. That’s in addition to any Accor elite benefits and all the premium perks included through The Edit.

Additional Benefits for Sapphire Reserve Cardmembers

Earning hotel loyalty points makes booking through Chase Travel even more valuable. Sapphire Reserve cardmembers, for example, already get complimentary IHG Platinum Elite status with their cards, and can enjoy the benefits of that program when booking eligible IHG hotels through Chase Travel or The Edit by Chase Travel.

Plus, with a stay of at least two nights between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2026, Reserve cardmembers will receive up to $250 in statement credits on eligible prepaid Chase Travel hotel bookings at IHG Hotels & Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotels and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, and those stays at hotel loyalty-eligible hotels are still eligible for hotel loyalty points and benefits. Cardmembers will also earn 8x Ultimate Rewards points on any portion not covered by statement credits.

How to Earn Cruise Loyalty Points Through Chase Travel

As with flights, if a cruise line has a loyalty program, eligible cardmembers can earn both the cruise line’s loyalty benefits and Ultimate Rewards points when booking through Chase Travel. For example, if you book an eligible Virgin Voyages package through Chase Travel, the trip may count toward Virgin’s Sailing Club status and associated benefits. And because Virgin Voyages is a Voyages by Chase Travel partner, you’ll also enjoy exclusive cardmember benefits including $200 shipboard credits in addition to earning Ultimate Rewards. Other Voyages by Chase Travel partners may have different benefits and shipboard credits, so be sure to explore these cruises and more at Chase Travel.
