      Navigating to and from SHV

      SHV is located at 5103 Hollywood Ave. and can be accessed off Exit 13 (Monkhouse Dr.) on I-20. Monkhouse Dr. turns into Claude Hamel Dr. when entering the airport and then loops around the airport, going by the terminal and all parking lots.

      Ground transportation options include:

      • Rental cars: There are several rental car operators located on the lower level of the terminal building at SHV. Rental cars can be picked up in the lot adjacent to the southern end of the terminal.
      • Rideshare: The designated rideshare pickup area can be found to the south of the terminal adjacent to the rental car lot.

      Parking at SHV

      Parking at SHVOpens overlay includes the following options:

      • Short-term parking (Red Lot): This surface lot is opposite the terminal on the other side of the main airport roadway. Parking is charged in 20-minute increments or a daily rate. The Red Lot offers the lowest daily rate at SHV.
      • Long-term parking (Orange Lot): This lot is just beyond the short-term parking lot. Parking is charged in 20-minute increments or a daily rate.
      • Economy parking (Purple Lot): The Purple Lot is a daily lot to the south of the terminal. Once visitors are parked in an available parking spot, they can scan the QR code at the entrance of the lot, select the number of days they will be parked and make a payment.
      • Quick park lot (Blue Lot): The Blue Lot just north of the terminal is an automated lot. Parking is charged in 15-minute increments or a daily rate.
      • Cell phone lot: This complimentary lot for drivers picking up arriving passengers is less than a minute drive from the terminal.

      SHV terminals and map

      SHV has one terminal with a handful of gates. Visitors enter the terminal via a two-story atrium. Baggage claim and ticketing counters are on the lower level, with baggage to the left and ticketing to the right upon entry. Travelers can then take the escalators in the middle of the terminal up to security screening and gates.

      Security at SHV

      There is one security screening checkpoint at SHV with dedicated TSA PreCheck® lanes. The checkpoint is located on Level 2. Travelers may take the escalators in the middle of the terminal up to security screening.

      Airport guidance recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before scheduled departure time for domestic flights. It may be beneficial to arrive earlier when flying during peak travel times.

      Getting through airport security faster
