Read on to learn about some of the benefits of booking with the Chase Travel portal for your next trip.

6 Benefits of booking through Chase Travel

Booking travel through Chase Travel as a Chase cardmember can offer several benefits, including:

      1. Enhanced points value

Some Chase credit cards allow cardmembers to redeem Ultimate Rewards points for travel at a higher rate when booking through the Chase Travel portal. This means you could get more value out of your points compared to other redemption options.

In June 2025, Chase Travel introduced Points Boost, allowing Sapphire Reserve® and Sapphire Preferred® cardmembers to maximize the value of their points when redeemed on hotels and flights through Chase Travel. With Points Boost, cardmembers can get:

      • Chase Sapphire Reserve: Points are worth up to 2x when booking a hotel that’s part of The Edit by Chase Travel℠ collection, all through Chase Travel.
      • Chase Sapphire Preferred: Points are worth up to 1.5x when booking eligible hotels and flights with select airlines, and up to 1.75x on premium cabin tickets on select airlines, all through Chase Travel.

      2. Exclusive offers and discounts

Chase Travel often features special offers and travel packages for Chase cardmembers. This can include lower fares or special hotel rates that may not be accessible elsewhere.

      3. Accelerated rewards points

Some Chase cards, like the Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve cards, allow cardmembers to earn awards at an accelerated rate when booking through Chase Travel. For example, the Sapphire Reserve card earns 4x points when booking airfare and hotels directly, but 8x points when booking through Chase Travel. Note that purchases made through FROSCH by Chase Travel, Valerie Wilson Travel by Chase Travel or FROSCH International Travel LLC will not qualify.

To earn the reward points, you need to use your card to book travel in the portal. Redeeming points to cover all or a portion of your travel will not earn rewards.

      4. Statement credits

Some Chase cards may provide statement credits for travel booked through Chase Travel. For example, the Chase Sapphire Preferred card offers a $50 annual Chase Travel hotel credit. This credit will automatically be applied to your account when your card is used for hotel accommodations booked through the portal.

      5. Streamlined booking

Using the Chase Travel portal helps provide a seamless booking experience. You can view a wide selection of flights, hotels and rental cars all in one place while managing your bookings and rewards redemptions through the portal.

Chase Travel also provides the ability to book activities, cruises and more—making it a potential one-stop shop for trip planning and booking.

      6. Ease of managing your rewards

The integration of the Chase Travel portal with Ultimate Rewards means that all your points are accessible and manageable in one place. You can view how many points you’ve accumulated as well as pending points. This can provide a straightforward way to monitor your balance and decide how best to use your rewards points.

      How to use Chase Travel

Chase cardmembers can access and use Chase Travel by following these steps:

      1. Log in to your account: You can access Chase Travel by logging into your online Chase account or through the Chase Mobile® app.
      2. Access the Ultimate Rewards portal: Once logged in to your account, navigate to the Ultimate Rewards section where you’ll see an option for "Travel." For many Chase cards—especially those that earn Ultimate Rewards points—the travel booking experience is integrated with the Ultimate Rewards portal.
      3. Browse and book travel: Once you’re in the travel portal, you can search for flights, hotels, rental cars and more.
      4. Redeem points (optional): If you want to use your Ultimate Rewards points, the portal typically provides options to view how many points you have so you know how many you have to apply toward your booking.
      5. Complete the booking: After selecting your travel, you can complete your booking directly on Chase Travel. The interface guides you through the process of confirming travel dates, guest information and payment details, including options to pay fully with points or a combination of points and cash.

Booking through Chase Travel can make the travel planning process rewarding and convenient. Chase cardmembers can view how their Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be used to book a variety of travel. The Chase Travel portal may also provide offers for Chase cardmembers.
