But did you know you can explore and book local activities, too?
Whether you’re interested in bucket-list classics, like an expert-led tour of Machu Picchu or a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, or you want to expand your horizons with intriguing but lesser-known experiences like attending a sumo match in Tokyo, Chase Travel gives you access to a whole world of opportunity. With activities available in more than 2,000 destinations, in over 130 countries, more memorable trips start here.
What Types of Activities Are Available on Chase Travel
As the saying goes, variety is the spice of life—and to that end, you can find a staggering number of things to do, see and experience on Chase Travel. Consider booking crowd favorites like cultural, historical and heritage tours; helicopter tours; or day trips that will make your next vacation one for the books.
Outdoor Adventures
Guided activities like aurora-hunting can help ensure the elusive northern lights don’t pass you by on your trip to Iceland. Or maybe you’re headed to Hawaii and you’d like to punctuate your beach-based relaxation with a little adrenaline; consider a doors-off helicopter tour around Kauai, swooping around the island’s waterfalls and sea cliffs.
Cultural, Historical and Heritage Tours
If you’re in Hawaii but prefer to stay on terra firma, book a dinner seating at the Te Au Moana luau at Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui. The freshly baked taro rolls dripping with mango butter alone are worth the price of admission, but the performance—a traditional celebration of community and heritage, supported by music, food and dance, with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop—will add another dimension to your trip.
Day Trips
Say you’re spending a week in Florence. Once you’ve had your fill of Italian Renaissance masters at the Uffizi Galleries and Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze (you can book informative and line-skipping tours of both through Chase Travel), take a day trip to the Tuscan countryside, weaving through the medieval town of Siena, around the famous towers of San Gimignano, over to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and finally into Chianti, where your booking can include a farmhouse lunch and wine tasting.
Why You Should Book Activities for Your Next Trip

Try a cooking class in Barcelona, where a professional chef will take you shopping at a local market before walking you through the steps for paella.
Chase Travel allows you to be spontaneous while ensuring you don’t miss out on a great or iconic experience. Say you’ve just landed in Rome and realize you haven’t locked in tickets to the Colosseum: You can book them directly through the Chase Mobile® app—and anything else that strikes your fancy—in real time. It’s service on the spot, on your time and on your terms.
Outsource the Logistics
Doing some research to prepare and plan activities ahead of time can help you avoid the dreaded FOMO, expand your horizons and let you see a place from a fresh vantage point. Plus, booking activities through a trusted provider takes the guesswork out of maximizing your time experiencing a new destination: You can relax and leave the finer details to the professionals.
See a New Side of a Destination
You can take in Paris from the river Seine when you book same-day tickets for a dinner cruise, or you can quite literally go farther afield with day trips in places around the world. But activities can also give you the chance to learn a new skill or interact with locals, so you can learn more from the people who live there. Consider, for example, a paella-making class in Barcelona, led by a professional chef, that kicks off with a guided market tour before diving into a step-by-step lesson on how to cook one of Spain’s most famous dishes.

Hang out with sloths—and spot other flora and fauna—on a guided tour through Costa Rica’s vibrant rainforests.
Eligible cardmembers can book activities at chasetravel.com and via the Chase Mobile® app; you can find the Activities tab just to the right of the Stays, Flights and Cars tabs.
All you need to get started are your travel dates and destination; enter those into the search tool to explore and book activities. Here, you can search by category, including “Tickets & passes” and “Food & drink.” Or if you have something specific in mind, you can tap the “All Filters” button to see prices, past reviews, additional categories and more. Just be sure to read the fine print, as many (but not all) activities include transportation, gratuities, attraction tickets, and food and beverages.
Booking activities with your eligible Chase card through Chase Travel means you’ll receive your card's standard benefits, including travel and purchase protections. Eligible cardmembers also earn extra points when booking activities through Chase Travel; Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers will earn 8 points per dollar on Chase Travel purchases, including activities, while Sapphire Preferred cardmembers earn 5 points per dollar.
And all eligible cardmembers can earn and redeem points on activities purchased through Chase Travel, meaning it might be easier than you think to make line-dancing classes in Nashville or sloth-watching experiences in Costa Rica a reality.
