Here’s everything you need to know about The Edit, from what kinds of properties you’ll find in the program to how to stack credits to get more from your stays.
What is The Edit by Chase Travel?
The Edit by Chase Travel is a curated collection of more than 1,400 hand-picked hotels and resorts worldwide. Eligible cardmembers can unlock up to $500 in annual statement credits and enjoy complimentary on-site benefits designed to maximize their trip when they book a prepaid stay of at least two nights at a participating property through The Edit.
Who can book through The Edit?
The Edit is available to Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers, including authorized users. Primary Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ cardmembers are also eligible. Reservations must be made directly through Chase Travel as a qualifying prepaid stay.
What kinds of hotels can I book through The Edit?
The Edit’s curated selection of hotels includes something for every kind of traveler, with benefits tailored to match. The Edit Hotel + Resort Collection includes top brands like Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels and IHG® Hotels & Resorts. The Edit All-In Collection showcases resorts with one-and-done rates and no guesswork. And with The Edit Boutique Collection, you’ll find everything from culinary-focused farm-to-table escapes to luxury beachfront casitas.
How do I book through The Edit?
Once you’ve found the right participating property for your trip on the Chase Travel portal, select your room and hit “Choose Room.” From there, add the stay to your cart and select “Pay Now” to pay with your eligible Chase card, points or a combination of both (as a reminder, bookings made entirely with points are not eligible for statement credits). “Pay Later” bookings are not eligible for statement credit.

Get up to $500 in statement credits back annually when you book a stay through The Edit at hand-picked properties around the world, including The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur.
What are the eligibility requirements for my booking to receive The Edit statement credit?
To receive a $250 Edit credit (up to $500 annually each calendar year), you must make a prepaid “Pay Now” booking for a minimum two-night stay at a participating property in The Edit. Purchases made with your eligible card and points are eligible, as long as the portion of your booking paid through your card exceeds the $250 credit amount; however, bookings made entirely with points are not eligible. Note that back-to-back stays at the same property within 24 hours of checkout are considered a single stay—if you return to the same property within 24 hours of checkout, The Edit program benefits will not apply to the subsequent check-in.
What credits can I receive when I book a hotel through The Edit?
Your eligible Chase card comes with multiple Chase Travel credits that can be stacked together for maximum value:
Up to $500 annually for qualifying bookings through The Edit:
- Get two $250 statement credits for prepaid bookings with a two-night minimum. Starting in 2026, these credits are flexible and can be used at any time during the calendar year—no more waiting for specific six-month windows. Your credits apply automatically to your first two qualifying stays of two or more nights booked throughout the year.
$250 credit for select Chase Travel hotels:
- Through December 31, 2026, get up to $250 on prepaid bookings with a two-night minimum at hotels from participating brands, including IHG® Hotels & Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotels and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.
Up to $300 annually toward travel purchases:
- Get up to $300 in statement credits for eligible travel purchases with the most flexible travel credit available—eligible purchases includes flights, accommodations (from campgrounds to luxury resorts) and transportation such as taxis, car rentals, ferry rides and subway tickets. Unlike The Edit credits, which reset each calendar year, the $300 travel credit resets on your cardmember anniversary. It applies automatically to any qualifying travel purchase, regardless of whether you’ve also used your Edit or select Chase Travel hotels credits on that stay.

Receive complimentary benefits like a property credit that you can use at the spa during your stay at Six Senses La Sagesse in Grenada.
How do I stack these credits?
To maximize your earnings, think of your credits as layers. On a qualifying stay at a participating brand like Pendry or IHG, your $250 The Edit credit applies, and so does your $250 credit for select hotels—together covering up to $500 of your total cost. Additionally, your $300 annual travel credit automatically reimburses eligible travel purchases, including The Edit stays, until that $300 is exhausted for the cardmember year.
Let’s say you book a qualifying stay of two nights at a property where all three credits can apply, like Six Senses La Sagesse in Grenada. For example, if the total cost for the stay before taxes and fees is $1,820: If you haven’t already used your $300 annual flexible travel credit, it would be applied toward the balance. Your $250 The Edit credit would also be applied. And since the remaining balance exceeds $250, your select Chase Travel hotels credit would be redeemed. You’d get $800 back, bringing the cost down to $1,020 after credits are applied, before taxes and fees.
How do these credits appear on my statement?
Credits are applied automatically once your qualifying stay is charged to your card—no activation required. They typically appear 3–5 days after the transaction settles, but can take up to two billing cycles to reflect on your statement.
How do I know whether a hotel is part of The Edit or qualifies for the $250 credit for select Chase Travel hotels?

Will stays booked through The Edit earn Ultimate Rewards points?
The portion of your Edit stay that is not covered by a statement credit will earn 8x Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent. The portion of your stay covered by a statement credit does not earn points—only the amount you pay after credits are applied is eligible. This 8x rate replaces any other points offered for Ultimate Rewards bookings. Stays booked entirely with points do not earn points.
What happens if I cancel or modify my reservation?
To modify a reservation, you must cancel and rebook within the property’s cancellation window at chasetravel.com or by calling the number on your travel itinerary. If you cancel, your The Edit credit will be returned—note that it may not automatically apply to a new booking. If you’re still eligible and the credit doesn’t apply to your new reservation, call the number on the back of your card to have it manually applied. If your reservation is canceled, you won’t earn Ultimate Rewards points for it, and any points issued at booking will be deducted from your account.
What if I don’t see a credit on my statement, or don’t receive complimentary benefits?
Credits are applied automatically once your qualifying stay is charged to your card—no activation required. They typically appear 3–5 days after the transaction settles, but can take up to two billing cycles to reflect on your statement. If your booking meets eligibility requirements and the credit hasn’t appeared within 3–5 days, call the number on the back of your card.
