The Edit by Chase Travel® is an exclusive collection of hand-picked hotels and resorts around the world where eligible Chase cardmembers receive complimentary benefits. Whether you’re looking for a convenient (and cool) New York City hotel, a Costa Rican tree house or a beachfront getaway in Oahu, here’s everything you need to know about The Edit.

      What is The Edit?

The Edit by Chase Travel is a curated collection of more than 1,400 hand-picked hotels and resorts worldwide. Eligible cardmembers can unlock up to $500 in annual statement credits and enjoy complimentary on-site benefits designed to maximize their trip when they book a prepaid stay of at least two nights at a participating property through The Edit.

Who can book through The Edit?

The Edit is available to Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers, including authorized users. Primary Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ cardmembers are also eligible. Reservations must be made directly through Chase Travel as a qualifying prepaid stay.

What kinds of hotels can I book through The Edit?

The Edit’s curated selection of hotels includes something for every kind of traveler, with benefits tailored to match. The Edit Hotel + Resort Collection includes top brands like Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels and IHG® Hotels and Resorts. The Edit All-In Collection showcases resorts with one-and-done rates and no guesswork. And with The Edit Boutique Collection, you’ll find everything from culinary-focused farm-to-table escapes to luxury beachfront casitas.

How do I book through The Edit?

Once you’ve found the right participating property for your trip on the Chase Travel portal, select your room and hit “Choose Room.” From there, add the stay to your cart and select “Pay Now” to pay with your eligible Chase card, points or a combination of both (as a reminder, bookings made entirely with points are not eligible for statement credits). You can also choose “Pay Later” to pay at the property, though this option is not eligible for the statement credit and does not allow you to redeem points at checkout.

Get up to $500 in statement credits back annually when you book a stay through The Edit at hand-picked properties around the world, including The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur.

What are the eligibility requirements for my booking to receive The Edit statement credit?

To receive a $250 The Edit credit (up to $500 annually each calendar year), you must log in to chasetravel.comOpens overlay and make a prepaid booking for a minimum two-night stay at a participating property in The Edit. Cash + Points purchases are also eligible, as long as the cash portion of your booking exceeds the $250 credit amount; however, bookings made entirely with points are not eligible.

Please note that back-to-back stays at the same property within 24 hours of checkout are considered a single stay—only the first stay is eligible for The Edit program benefits.

What credits can I receive when I book a hotel through The Edit?

Your eligible Chase card comes with multiple Chase Travel credits that can be stacked together for maximum value:

Up to $500 annually for qualifying bookings through The Edit:

      • Get two $250 statement credits for prepaid bookings with a two-night minimum (back-to-back stays at the same property within 24 hours of checkout are considered a single stay, and only the first stay is eligible for the credit). These credits can be used at any time during the calendar year. Your credits apply automatically to your first two qualifying stays of two or more nights booked throughout the year.

$250 credit for select Chase Travel hotels:

      • Through Dec. 31, 2026, get up to $250 on prepaid bookings with a two-night minimum at hotels from participating brands, including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotel Group and Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts.

Up to $300 annually toward travel purchases:

      • Get up to $300 in statement credits for eligible travel purchases with the most flexible travel credit available—eligible purchases include flights; accommodations from campgrounds to luxury resorts; and transportation such as taxis, car rentals, ferry rides and subway tickets. Unlike The Edit and select Chase Travel hotels credits, which reset each calendar year, the $300 travel credit resets on your cardmember anniversary. It applies automatically to any qualifying travel purchase, regardless of whether you’ve also used your credits for The Edit or select Chase Travel hotels on that stay.

Receive complimentary benefits like a property credit that you can use at the spa during your stay at Six Senses La Sagesse in Grenada.

How do I stack these credits?

To maximize your money back, think of your credits as layers. On a qualifying stay at a participating brand like Pendry or IHG, your $250 The Edit credit applies first, followed by your $250 credit for select hotels—together covering up to $500 of your total cost. Your $300 annual travel credit works independently in the background, automatically reimbursing eligible travel purchases, including The Edit stays, until that $300 is exhausted for the cardmember year. (Note that all three credits can be fully applied on one stay only if your reservation total exceeds $800.)

For example, let’s say you book a qualifying stay of two nights at a property where all three credits can apply, like the Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada. If the total cost for the stay before taxes and fees was, for example, $1,820:

      • First, your $250 The Edit credit would be applied.
      • Then, since the remaining balance exceeds $250, your select Chase Travel hotels credit is redeemed.
      • And finally, if you haven’t already used your $300 annual flexible travel credit, it will be applied to cover the remaining balance.

This results in a total savings of $800, bringing your out-of-pocket cost down to $1,020 before taxes and fees.

What if the cost of my hotel stay is less than the amount of statement credit I have available to redeem?

Just like your $300 annual flexible credit for eligible travel purchases, your $500 in The Edit credits and your $250 credit for select Chase Travel hotels can be used across multiple purchases.

For example, suppose you book a two-night stay at a participating hotel for $480. Your $250 Edit credit is applied first, reducing your balance to $230. Then, your $250 select Chase Travel hotels credit is applied, covering the remaining $230. Even if you’d already redeemed all of your $300 annual flexible travel credit, after this stay, you’d still have $20 left from your select Chase Travel hotels credit to use toward another eligible booking.

How do these credits appear on my statement?

Credits are applied automatically once your qualifying stay is charged to your card—no activation required. They typically appear 3–5 days after the transaction settles, but can take up to two billing cycles to reflect on your statement.

How do I know whether a hotel is part of The Edit or qualifies for the $250 credit for select Chase Travel hotels?

Visit chasetravel.com/theeditOpens overlay to browse participating properties by destination or collection. Click “See All Stays” for a complete list by country, or search a specific destination and look for The Edit banner on eligible properties. Each listing also details the benefits included with your stay. The credit for select Chase Travel hotels applies to prepaid stays at IHG Hotels & Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotel Group and Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts. For a firsthand look at The Edit properties, browse reviews from Chase Travel’s writers and editors, who visit hotels to give you an inside view before you book.

What complimentary benefits are included when I book through The Edit?

Each collection in The Edit offers a distinct set of complimentary benefits, and some program benefits are subject to availability and may vary by property.

      • Daily breakfast for two

When you book through The Edit, you can receive a room upgrade when available, like this Signature Pool Villa at Six Senses Zil Pasyon in the Seychelles.

Will stays booked through The Edit earn Ultimate Rewards points?

The portion of your stay covered by the statement credit will not earn Ultimate Rewards points. Any remaining balance earns 8x points as a Chase Travel booking—note that this is instead of, not in addition to, any standard Ultimate Rewards points you might otherwise earn on travel bookings.

Can stays booked through The Edit earn hotel loyalty points?

Yes. With Loyalty Plus℠, booking through Chase Travel lets you earn both Ultimate Rewards Points and airline, cruise, and select hotel loyalty rewards on the same trip—including The Edit properties. Hotel, airline and cruise loyalty program rules apply.

To confirm your The Edit booking is a part of Loyalty Plus, look for the “Eligible for Loyalty Plus” flag within the Chase Travel search results. Add your loyalty number during booking or in your Trip Profile, and that information will appear in the reservation confirmation, which is shared with the participating hotel. To ensure your loyalty number has been applied to the reservation, confirm with the front desk upon arrival.

What happens if I cancel or modify my reservation?

To modify a reservation, you must cancel and rebook within the property’s cancellation window at chasetravel.comOpens overlay or by calling the number on your travel itinerary. If you cancel, your The Edit credit will be returned and will auto-apply to a new reservation. If your reservation is canceled, you won’t earn Ultimate Rewards points for it, and any points issued at booking will be deducted from your account.

Back-to-back stays at the same property within 24 hours of the previous checkout are considered a single stay. Only the first stay is eligible for The Edit program benefits.

Why didn’t I receive my The Edit credit or complimentary benefits?

To receive your $250 The Edit credit, you must make a prepaid booking stay of at least two consecutive nights at a participating property. If your booking meets these requirements and the credit hasn’t appeared within 3–5 days, call the number on the back of your card. For missing property benefits—such as breakfast, Wi-Fi or your property credit—email lodgingsupport@travel.chase.com.
