What is the Sapphire Reserve for Business Lyft credit?

When Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business cardmembers make their Sapphire card the default payment method in their Lyft account, they can earn a $10 ride credit each month. Cardmembers may earn up to $120 in Lyft ride credits in a 12-month period. Additionally, cardmembers can earn 5x total points on qualifying Lyft purchases and services. Qualifying purchases that earn 5x total points include:

      • Rideshare
      • Bike and scooter rides
      • Subscription and membership products

How the $120 Lyft ride credit works

To use the Lyft ride credit, you’ll need to add the Sapphire Reserve for Business credit card as the default payment in your Lyft account. If you don’t already have a Lyft account, you’ll need to download the appOpens overlay and create one.

When you pay for eligible Lyft rides with your Sapphire Reserve for Business credit card, the $10 monthly credit is automatically applied to the subtotal for the ride. This differs from many other credits offered through the Sapphire Reserve for Business card, which are usually applied as statement credits. Unused Lyft credits expire at the end of every month.

Which Lyft rides are eligible for the credit?

      Eligible Lyft rides include:

      • Standard
      • Extra Comfort
      • XL
      • Black
      • Black SUV

If you have authorized users or employee cardmembers who also use their card to pay for Lyft rides, the credit is given to the first person to add their card to their Lyft account.

The credit will be automatically applied on eligible rides with the option to remove, except for when checking out on a Lyft Business Profile, which will allow for the option to apply the credit but it will not be automatically applied. The credit may not be combined with other credits or discounts available on the Lyft platform.
