    Earning bonus points with Peloton

    When cardmembers use the Sapphire Reserve card to buy Peloton equipment and accessories, they can earn 9 points on those purchases. That is in addition to the 1 point on all eligible purchases, for a total of 10x points on Peloton.

    Cardmembers can earn points on up to $5,000 worth of Peloton equipment and accessories, earning a maximum of 50,000 points, until Dec. 31, 2027—when this offer is set to expire.

    Additionally, cardmembers can get up to $120 in annual statement credits toward Peloton memberships (up to $10 in monthly statement credits, totaling up to $120 annually—activation required).

    How to earn 10x points on Peloton purchases

    To earn 10x points, you’ll need to make your purchase through Peloton. Purchases can be made on Peloton's website, at a Peloton showroom or over the phone. Cardmembers looking to earn 10x points will have options for eligible equipment and accessory purchases.

    Peloton, which first introduced its bike in 2012, has expanded its equipment and offerings over the years, appealing to more than cyclists. In addition to bikes, Peloton equipment includes treadmills, rowing machines and Guide, which is an AI-powered personal trainer for strength training.

    Accessories available through Peloton include:

    • Bike toe clips
    • Dumbbells
    • Cycling shoes
    • Bike mats
    • Yoga straps

    To get 10x points, orders must be at least $150. You can buy one item for $150+ or get multiple items in the same order to reach the minimum.

    Sapphire Reserve Peloton offer details

    There are a few things to keep in mind when making eligible Peloton purchases with your Sapphire Reserve card, including:

    • Only purchases made directly through Peloton (online, over the phone or in a showroom) are eligible.
    • Purchases made through other platforms—like portals that allow you to purchase Peloton equipment using Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds—are not eligible.
    • You must use your Sapphire Reserve card when making the purchase.
    • Purchases made outside the U.S. are not eligible.
    • Gift cards and apparel are not eligible for points.
    • If you return or cancel your Peloton order, the points you earned on those purchases will be deducted from your account.
    • Your Sapphire Reserve account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment.

    This offer ends December 31, 2027, so making purchases near the end date may not qualify. Purchases need to be posted to your account by the last day of the promotional period to qualify. It may take 1-2 billing cycles after making a qualified purchase for points to post to your account.

    Earning rewards points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card

    Peloton is not the only spending category where Chase Sapphire reserve cardmembers can earn more than the standard 1 point per $1 on all other eligible purchases. The card has many other ways to earn rewards points on dining, travel and experiences, including:

    • 8x points on travel and experiences booked through Chase Travel
    • 4x points on flights and hotels booked direct
    • 3x points on dining
