Earning rewards with Chase Ink business credit cards

Each Chase Ink business card earns rewards at a different rate, with some cards providing the ability to earn accelerated rewards on travel. Ink cards earn Chase Ultimate Rewards® points, which can be redeemed for travel through Chase Travel, cash back, gift cards and more.

      Ink Business Preferred® credit card

The Ink Business Preferred card is a business card that earns 1 point per dollar spent on purchases.

Additionally, the card earns 3x points on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases in the following categories each account anniversary year:

      • Travel
      • Shipping purchases
      • Advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines
      • Internet, cable and phone services

After that, those rewards categories earn 1 point per dollar spent until the next year when the spending maximum resets.

The Ink Business Preferred card also allows cardmembers to transfer points to various participating airline and hotel loyalty programs.

      Ink Business Premier® credit card

The Ink Business Premier card earns accelerated rewards on some purchases, including:

      • 5% cash back on purchases made through Chase Travel
      • 2.5% cash back on purchases of $5,000 or more
      • 2% cash back on all other purchases

This card is structured as a pay-in-full card.

      Ink Business Unlimited® credit card

The Ink Business Unlimited card is a cash back credit card offering a flat rewards rate of 1.5% cash back on purchases, including travel.

      Ink Business Cash® credit card

Similar to the Unlimited card, the Ink Business Cash card offers cash back rewards on most purchases with some accelerated categories. Though not directly focused on travel, the cardmembers can earn:

      • 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services each account anniversary year
      • 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year
      • 1% cash back on all other purchases, including travel purchases

While gas stations and restaurants can be part of business travel, this card doesn't earn accelerated rewards on travel purchases.

Why use a Chase Ink business card for business travel?

Beyond earning rewards on travel and everyday purchases, Chase Ink business cards offer some travel and purchase protections that may be appealing to business owners and their employees when traveling. These protections vary by card but may include Auto Rental Coverage, Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance or Extended Warranty Protection, to name a few.
