Redeeming Avis Preferred points
Points may be redeemed for free rental days, vehicle upgrades or accessories. There are typically no blackout dates when redeeming your points, meaning it is possible to use them even during busy holiday periods. The number of points required to redeem depends on the vehicle class, location and rental date. Points can also be used to cover the cost of daily add-ons, such as GPS navigation units, satellite radio or child safety seats.
Your points may expire after a period of inactivity, so making regular rentals or redemptions will help keep your balance active.
How to join the Avis Preferred program
