How to link an external account to fund your investment account
Learn how to link an external account to fund your J.P. Morgan Wealth Management investment account right on your phone using the Chase Mobile® app. This video demonstrates how to navigate to a financial institution, locate the account you want to use to fund your investment account, and request the transfer.
Sign in to the Chase Mobile® app
Tap “Pay and Transfer”, “Transfers” and then “Transfer money for investment accounts”
Tap the “Link an external account” hyperlink
Choose the financial institution that you want to link to
Sign in to your financial institution or enter the information manually
Read the terms and conditions, tap to agree, then tap “Next”
Scroll down and tap “Next”, then “Continue”
Sign in to your account and then tap “Sign in”; you’ll see your account in a few moments
Choose the account you want to link and tap “Next”
If everything looks correct, tap “Next”
Tap “Close”, fill in the required information on the Brokerage Transfer screen, and tap “Next”
Review the transfer details and if everything looks correct, tap “Transfer money”
