Frequently asked questions about Chase Offers
Chase Offers gives you cash back in the form of statement credits on eligible purchases with the brands you love. There are no coupons, codes or vouchers to remember.
- Explore your offers in the Chase Mobile® app, Chase.com or in a Chase Offers email.
- Add offers to your card by choosing deals from the merchants you love.
- Redeem offers by using your Chase card to make eligible purchases during the offer period.
- Your statement credits will appear within 30 days after qualifying transactions post to your account, unless otherwise stated in offer terms and conditions.
Keep in mind:
- For business debit and credit card accounts, any cardholder can redeem offers added to the account.
- To receive statement credits, your account must be open and, for credit card accounts, not in default at the time of fulfillment.
- Chase is only responsible for posting the statement credit to your account based on the data it receives from its third-party service providers.
- Third Party Payment plans may not be eligible for certain offers.
There are a few reasons you may not have received a statement credit for an offer you used:
- The offer may not be added to your card.
- Check your “Added” tab in the Offers Wallet on the Chase Mobile app or at Chase.com to see if the offer has been added to your card.
- You can also check your “Redeemed” tab in the Offers Wallet on the Chase Mobile app or at Chase.com to see if the offer was successfully redeemed within the last 90 days.
- The offer may have expired. Check the “Expired” tab in the Offers Wallet on the Chase Mobile app or at Chase.com to see all offers that have expired within the last 90 days.
- You may not be using the correct card. Each Chase Offer is linked to only one of your Chase accounts. There are two ways to see which card is linked to an offer:
- The top of the Chase Offers page displays the account for which you’re viewing offers. If you have more than one Chase account, you can switch accounts with the “Choose account” dropdown.
- In the offer details, an image of the card linked to that offer will appear, along with the last 4 digits of the card number.
- It may not have been 30 days since the transaction posted. Check your statement to confirm the date the transaction posted. The statement credit should appear on your account within 30 days after the qualifying transaction posts on your statement.
Keep in mind, to receive statement credits, your account must be open and, for credit card accounts, not in default at the time of fulfillment.
If you are still experiencing issues, please call the number on the back of your card to speak to a Chase customer service representative or submit an Account Inquiry through our Secure Message Center on Chase.com or the mobile app.
You cannot remove an offer once it has been added to your account. Fortunately, there is no limit to the amount of offers you can add to your account, nor is there a penalty if you do not use an offer.
Go to the Offers Wallet in Chase Offers. Offers you’ve added to your card that have not expired or been redeemed will appear in the “Added” section of the Offers Wallet. Offers that have been redeemed or have expired within the last 90 days will appear in the “Redeemed” or “Expired” sections. Redeemed and expired offers will no longer appear in the wallet after 90 days. You cannot reinstate an expired offer.
If you made the transaction before the expiration date and met the requirements of the offer, you should receive a statement credit. While payment is pending, the offer may appear as expired in the Offers Wallet. The offer should appear as redeemed within 30 days after the qualifying transaction posts on your statement.
Only offers that were redeemed within the past 90 days will appear in the "Redeemed" tab. The total amount saved reflects lifetime earnings for a specific card.
It is possible that a merchant may split your purchase into multiple transactions. If this occurs and affects the expected redemption of an offer, please call the number on the back of your card or submit an Account Inquiry through our Secure Message Center on Chase.com or the mobile app.
Yes, the minimum purchase amount includes the sales tax for that purchase.
The offers you see are chosen for you based on how you use your eligible credit or debit cards. That’s why you may see different offers available for each of your cards, and why you may have different offers than someone you share a joint account with.
The offers you see are based on how you use your eligible credit or debit card. You may see fewer offers if you received your card recently, or if you don’t use it often. The more you use your card and Chase Offers, the more offers you may see in your account.
No, offers are specifically chosen for each card. When you add an offer on a card, you must use that same card to redeem the offer.
This works a little differently depending on the type of account you have.
For personal debit card accounts, all account owners can view, add and redeem their own unique offers. For business debit card accounts, owners and signers are able to view, add and redeem offers, but employees on these accounts cannot.
For personal and business credit card accounts, primary cardmembers and authorizing officers can view, add and redeem offers. Authorized users and employees on these accounts cannot view or add offers; however, because all credit card numbers on an account are the same, an offer can be redeemed by authorized users or employees if they are the first to make qualifying transactions.
Authorized users cannot see or add offers on business accounts.
However, authorized users can redeem offers that have been added to business credit cards because they share the same card number with the account owner.
The conditions for each offer are different. Please review the offer details to confirm whether an offer has a one-time-use stipulation.
Chase Offers is an independent benefit from credit card rewards. If your credit card gives you rewards benefits, such as Ultimate Rewards® points, miles, or other rewards, you will still earn rewards on eligible purchases, even when you also use Chase Offers.
We do not provide your information to merchants to create your offers. If you redeem an offer, the merchant receives redemption information including total purchase amount and date of purchase.
No, the statement credit you receive from Chase Offers will not be counted as a payment. It is not a substitute for a payment. Statement credits will reduce your balance, but you are still required to make at least your minimum payment.
