What to know about the Seaport Summer Concert Series
Since at least 2018, the concert series on The Rooftop at Pier 17 has attracted thousands of fans. The lineup changes every year, and events typically span May to October, rain or shine.
Location
Each event of the Summer Concert Series will take place on The Rooftop at Pier 17 in lower Manhattan. Use public transit, cabs or rideshares to go to 89 South Street, the main entrance to Pier 17. The access driveway is open to private and rideshare vehicles, and parking is available at nearby lots.
Dates and times
The Summer Concert Series kicks off with Social Distortion and Bad Religion on May 4. They play four days, and events continue throughout the summer until near the end of August. At the time of writing, Sublime with Rome is set to be the last show in the series on August 24.
Premium access
Premium spaces are set to be available for the 2024 concert series, including the Grey Goose Terrace and Heineken Silver Zone. Access to the Grey Goose Terrace on The Rooftop may be available as an add-on to your concert ticket when you purchase. You could also purchase this add-on experience at the box office before the event.
The Heineken Silver Zone ticket is a premium ticket option and includes access to a reserved viewing area near the stage, plus a dedicated bar where you can buy your drinks.

Social Distortion and Bad Religion
These shows from May 4-8 will feature both bands co-headlining with a special guest opener to be announced. Doors at 5 p.m.—show starts at 6 p.m.
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib – 10 Year of Piñata
On Saturday, May 11, this 10-year celebration of the album Piñata has been dubbed “Teñata.” Doors at 6 p.m.—show starts at 7 p.m.
Electric Callboy – North America Tour 2024
On Monday, May 13 , Electric Callboy visits The Rooftop as part of a massive North American tour. Doors at 6 p.m.—show starts at 7 p.m.
NEEDTOBREATHE: The “Caves” World Tour
This tour stops in New York City on Friday, May 31. The band is supporting its ninth studio album, “Caves.” Doors at 6:30 p.m.—show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, with Neal Francis
Have a Sunday-Funday on June 16 when Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue return to The Rooftop. Neal Francis joins this time. Doors at 6 p.m.—show starts at 7 p.m.
Something Corporate
Leave work behind and kick off the weekend with Something Corporate on Friday, June 21. This showing of the Out of Office tour starts at 7:30 p.m.—doors at 6:30 p.m.
Billy Currington with Larry Fleet
You’ll find Billy Currington at The Rooftop on Saturday, June 22. Doors at 6 p.m.—show starts at 7 p.m.
Mother Mother and Cavetown
This co-headlining summer tour has two stops at The Rooftop. Cavetown is set to headline July 9, while Mother Mother is set to close the show July 10. On both days, the doors are at 5 p.m.—the show starts at 6 p.m.
moe. – Best.Summer.Ever
On Thursday, July 11, moe. will have the support of Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country. Doors at 5:30 p.m.—show at 6:30 p.m.
Old Crow Medicine Show
Check out the Jubilee Tour, named after the band’s latest release, when Old Crow Medicine Show stops at The Rooftop on Wednesday, July 17. Doors at 6 p.m.—show starts at 7 p.m.
Totally Tubular Festival
Start off your night when this ‘80s-type festival takes The Rooftop stage Thursday, July 18. The lineup includes:

O.A.R. Summer Tour 24 with special guest Fitz and the Tantrums
O.A.R. has had quite the ride since forming in 1996 and haven’t really slowed down. Supporting its 10th studio album, O.A.R. visits The Rooftop July 25th and 26th. Doors at 5 p.m.—show starts at 6 p.m.

The doors for Andrew Bird open at 6 p.m. Support from Amadou and Mariam should kick off the show at 7 p.m. It’s sure to be a memorable Friday night for fans this summer.
Taking Back Sunday
Recently celebrating 20 years as a band, Taking Back Sunday has embarked on a North American tour with Citizen. The shows on August 17th and 18th start at 7 p.m. with doors at 6 p.m.
Sublime with Rome
This farewell tour will be bittersweet, and The Rooftop stop will be no exception. In addition to the 2023 EP, Sublime is leaving fans the parting gift of this show on August 24. Doors at 5 p.m.—show starts at 6 p.m.
