Read on to learn about the benefits associated with this card and how it is designed with business owners in mind.

Business benefits with Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business

The Sapphire Reserve for Business card has many features—including travel benefits, purchase protections and rewards earning potential—but it is first and foremost a business credit card.

Business owners may find various useful features for managing and tracking spending. The primary cardmember can set up alerts and account notifications, providing spending and business insights in real time.

Employee credit cards are complimentary as well. Employee cards provide the employee the same level of purchase and travel protections as the primary cardmember. However, some card benefits, like airport lounge access, do not extend to employee cards. The primary cardmember pays an annual fee for the card, but employee cards do not have an annual fee.

    Payment flexibility with the card

The Sapphire Reserve for Business card is a Pay in Full card that offers a Flex for Business payment option as well:

    • Pay in Full: This payment option requires the cardmember to pay off the full balance of their card by the due date of each billing cycle, similar to a charge card.
    • Flex for Business: This payment option provides added payment flexibility for business owners when they need it. Cardmembers can pay for eligible purchases over time with interest up to the Flex for Business limit. This may be useful for large or unexpected expenses, and can provide businesses purchasing power even as they are paying off larger amounts.

Sapphire Reserve for Business customer support

The Sapphire Reserve for Business card provides 24/7 assistance from Visa Infinite Concierge®. This service can help business owners book dining, entertainment and travel, giving them more time to focus on running their business.

Cardmembers also get exclusive access to a dedicated customer service team through Chase, which is available 7 days a week.

    Perks for small business owners

The Sapphire Reserve for Business card has a few statement credits that may appeal to business owners, including the following:

    • $200 Google Workspace credit: Cardmembers can earn up to $200 in annual statement credits on purchases made directly on Google Workspace.
    • $400 ZipRecruiter credit: Business owners can earn statement credits on purchases made directly with ZipRecruiter. That includes up to $200 in statement credits January through June and up to $200 in statement credits July through December.
    • Gift card credit: When cardmembers purchase gift cards from a curated online collection, they can earn up to $100 per year in statement credits—up to $50 in statement credits January through June and up to $50 July through December.

You must use your credit card when making these purchases. Statement credits will typically show up on a billing statement within 1-2 billing cycles.

    Travel benefits and perks

Frequent business travelers may find a variety of benefits worth exploring with the Sapphire Reserve for Business card. It provides a host of travel benefits, including:

Sapphire Reserve for Business cardmembers also have access to The Edit by Chase Travel℠, a curated collection of resorts and hotels. Booking through The Edit provides perks during your stay that include complimentary daily breakfast for two, a $100 property credit, room upgrades (when available) and more.

There also is a statement credit for stays booked through The Edit. Primary cardmembers get up to $250 in statement credits from January through June and again from July through December for The Edit bookings.

Unlocking additional benefits with Sapphire Reserve for Business

Spending at least $120,000 in a calendar year with the card can unlock additional cardmember benefits, including elite status on select airlines and hotel brands as well as statement credits. These benefits are available for each calendar year that cardmembers qualify and can be used through the following calendar year.

    Earning rewards

The Sapphire Reserve for Business card earns 1x points on most purchases. However, there are spending categories where the earning potential is greater. They include:

    • 8x points on travel booked through Chase Travel, which includes airline tickets, hotels (including The Edit), car rentals, cruises, activities and tours
    • 5x total points on Lyft rides through 9/30/2027
    • 4x points when you book directly with an airline or hotel
    • 3x points on social media and search engine advertising

Employee credit cards associated with the account earn rewards points at the same rate, so business owners may increase their reward earning potential with every employee card. Points can be redeemed for travel through Chase Travel, cash back, gift cards or can be transferred at a 1:1 ratio to affiliated partners, which include airlines and hotels.
