We can satisfy your curiosity a bit with some information on the locations for the PGA Championship through 2030.

2024 – Valhalla Golf Club - Louisville, KY

The 2024 PGA Championship® will be hosted by Valhalla Golf Club from May 13-19. This is the club’s fourth time playing host since opening in 1986. Designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. it's rapidly gained notoriety over the years.

As host to the PGA Championship, some historic rounds have been played over the years. In 2014, for example, Rory McIlroy played on some soggy grounds as night loomed late in the final day. McIlroy outshot Phil Mickelson in the end. An exciting playoff also happened at Valhalla in 2000 when Tiger Woods took home the Wanamaker Trophy, victorious over Bob May.

2025 – Quail Hollow Club – Charlotte, NC

Some might hail Quail Hollow as one of course architect George Cobb’s best given the terrain in this part of America’s southeast region. When the PGA Championship is played in 2025, it will be just the second time at Quail Hollow. Last time it was played here, in August 2017, Justin Thomas won his first major title.

2026 – Aronimink Golf Club – Newton Square, PA

In this Philadelphia suburb, Aronimink has roots older than the PGA Championship itself. The club is set to host the championship in 2026, right around the course’s centennial anniversary. The design of the championship course known today is the same as when it opened in 1928.

In 1967, however, Aronimink became part of the PGA Championship’s history and has since hosted a plethora of national golf tournaments and events.

2027 – PGA Frisco, East Course– Frisco, TX

Frisco is the newest home of the PGA of America® in a historic move from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Having a pro-level course and hosting a PGA Championship at the new headquarters only makes sense. That event is currently slated for 2027.

However, there’s actually going to be two championship courses in Frisco! Beau Welling led the design for the West Course; Gil Hanse designed the East Course. A short course, practice areas, official development program and resort is also part of the PGA of America’s new home.

2028 – The Olympic Club, Lake Course – San Francisco, CA

2028 will mark the first time the Olympic Club hosts a PGA of America pillar event. The course has no shortage of championship events on its resumé, though. There have been over 10 United States Golf Association events, including five U.S. Opens. The renowned, century-old Lake Course is scheduled to hold the 2028 PGA Championship.

2029 – Baltusrol Golf Club, Lower Course – Springfield, NJ

Baltusrol Golf Club’s Lower Course has served a prominent role in national golf history for over a century and hosted seven professional majors. In fact, the National Park Service named this club that opened in 1895 a national historic landmark. In 2029, Baltusrol will host its third PGA Championship. Previous winners of the championship at Baltusrol include Phil Mickelson and Jimmy Walker.

2030 – Congressional Country Club – Bethesda, MD

One of few clubs founded by former presidents, Congressional Country Club was not originally established for golf. It was instead meant to be a common ground for politicians, colleagues and peers to meet. However, the club has gained some international recognition in the golf world.

The Blue Course here has hosted a PGA Championship and three U.S. Opens. Renovated between 2020 and 2021, the course is slated to hold several PGA of America events before the 2030 PGA Championship.

    In summary

As Championship week approaches, it can be fun to recall past PGA Championship winners and scores. Looking toward the future can be exciting, too, especially given the fact that this list of future PGA Championship venues includes some first and second-time hosts.
