Buy and sell stocks and ETFs

Buy stocks and ETFs using market orders on the Chase Mobile^® app

This video illustrates how to invest in securities at the next available market price right on your phone. Sign in to the Chase Mobile^® app for access to investment information including stock and ETF details and your cash available to trade. You can buy or sell a stock or ETF that you already own or invest in a new one.

1. Sign in to the Chase Mobile^® app, tap “Investments” and then tap “Trade”
2. Tap “Stocks & ETFs”
3. Pick the account you want to use
4. The stocks or ETFs you own are listed, and you can buy more or search for a new one
5. Tap “Buy”
6. Choose the order type “Market order” to invest in securities based on the next available market price; you can place market orders at any time during normal market hours
7. Tap the symbol for more details about the security
8. Tap your account for balance details, including cash available to trade
9. Put in the number of shares to buy and tap “Next”
10. Review and confirm your order, then tap “Place order”
11. Your order status displays in real-time
12. Once your order completes, you can check your order status, start a new trade or tap “Close”
