Buy stocks and ETFs using market orders on chase.com

This video illustrates how to invest in securities at the next available market price on chase.com. Sign in to your J.P. Morgan investment account for access to investment information including stock and ETF details and your cash available to trade. You can buy more of a stock or ETF that you already own or invest in a new one.

1. Sign in to your account, choose “Trade,” then “Stocks & ETFs”
2. Pick the account you want to use
3. The stocks or ETFs you own are listed, and you can buy more or search for a new one
4. Choose “Buy”
5. Choose the order type “Market order” to invest in securities based on the next available market price; you can place market orders at any time during normal market hours
6. Choose “Price details” for details about the security
7. Choose “Cash available to trade” for balance details
8. Put in the number of shares you want to buy and choose “Preview”
9. Review and confirm your order, then choose “Place order”
10. Your order status displays in real-time
11. Once your order completes, you can check your order status or start a new trade
