It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for – for the first time since 1982, the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas, a place synonymous with excitement and glamour, welcomes the 2023 Racing World Championship.

    Buckle up for a weekend full of daily events and entertainment. But the real adrenaline rush happens on Saturday night during the laps of the last race. Picture this: a temporary 3.8-mile track weaving through the very heart of Las Vegas, taking the drivers on a wild ride along the legendary Vegas Strip, including landmarks such as the Bellagio Fountains and the Eiffel Tower at New York New York’s Hotel.

    The track itself is an impressive design feat boasting over a dozen heart-pounding turns that will probably test any experienced driver. The straightaways will likely see speeds above 200 mph! It’s a can’t-miss event for any race lover.

    An overview of Race Week Las Vegas

    Various ticketing options are available, including VIP packages, grandstand seating and general admission. Ticket prices start around $500 for the weekend, which includes admission to a dedicated zone and features Vegas-style entertainment, as well as food and certain beverages. These packages are not offered by Chase.

Daily winners of the fastest lap secure an exclusive prize, with the overall weekend champion winning a coveted paddock ticket for race day.
    • Immersive Viewing Wall - A massive, large-format LED wall will broadcast the race in crystal-clear high definition. Adding an interactive dimension, guests are given access to a custom website where they can engage in gamified elements related to the race — predicting outcomes, voting, and earning points for accuracy. The leaderboard is updated regularly, stirring up friendly competition among guests.
    • Driver Audio Experience - Guests can immerse themselves fully in the world of racing by entering a realistic race car replica and donning a VR headset designed to resemble a racing helmet. A36-speaker spatial audio system surrounds them, mimicking the immersive sounds of a live race. Paired with a virtual reality race experience, this activation delivers a high-speed adventure around the track, making guests feel as if they're right in the driver's seat.
    • Cardmembers will receive 2x points on purchases at Mama Rabbit, discounts on food and specialty drinks.

    • Enjoy VIP check-in at Park MGM lobby. This means you can access an exclusive check-in area where cardmembers are assisted with a swift and seamless registration process that eliminates any potential waiting times or hassles. You'll be escorted to a separate VIP line in which any cardmember who shows their Sapphire Reserve card can participate in the VIP check-in process without prior registration.

    Sapphire Speedway is an exclusive, high-octane event held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, designed for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers to experience the thrill of motorsports for a day. The immersive event offers guests the freedom to partake in various exciting driving experiences, including supercar racing, drifting, and go-karting. The evening culminates in a gourmet dining experience curated by renowned Chef Eros, all under the spectacle of a grand firework finale. There’s an option to extend the offering for a second night, at minimal cost (this extension would focus on driving only).

    • Outer Racetrack Super Cars – Kick off your evening with the roar of a supercar as you take two exhilarating laps around the Outer Racetrack. At your own pace and time, you can head over to the track, where a line of gleaming supercars awaits your command. As you cross the finish line after the second lap, pyrotechnics celebrate your triumphant run.
    • Cocktail Hour – The cocktail service is in the heart of the on-site Speedway Lounge, manned by expert mixologists from Michael B. Jordan’s Last Lap Bar and Restaurant. These craft bartenders will craft an array of refreshing drinks including premium spirits and mixers to create both classic and innovative cocktails. With a DJ playing music all evening, you can enjoy this electrifying ambience on the dance floor.
    • Customized Merch Station – The Customized Merch Station is set up within one of the Speedway garages, cleverly designed to resemble a chic and modern automotive parts shop. You can peruse through a selection of unique merchandise that includes personalized racing jackets, distinctive burnt rubber candles and more.     • Dinner with Chef Eros – The dinner with Chef Eros is a gourmet culinary adventure that takes place within the transformed Orange Garage at Sapphire Speedway, surrounded by gleaming supercars. You’ll be served a meal, each dish showcasing Chef Eros's fusion of global flavors. Afterwards, enjoy a spectacular firework show.
    • Inner Raceway GT Cars – Guests that have purchased the GT Racing experience can switch to the adrenaline-pumping Inner Raceway. Here, you'll experience the thrill of speed and precision with five laps in authentic race cars. This experience can be revisited throughout the night, should you desire more high-speed thrills.
