How StubHub works
StubHub is an online ticket exchange platform that allows people to buy and sell tickets for sports events, concerts, theater shows and more. It provides a marketplace where sellers can list their tickets, and buyers can purchase them at market-driven prices.
StubHub visitors can search for events using filters like date, location and type of event and then purchase tickets directly through the site from individual sellers. As of May 2026, the platform offers a FanProtect GuaranteeOpens overlay, which provides assurances that tickets are authentic and will arrive on time. If not, buyers can receive comparable or better tickets or, in some cases, a refund.
