Course: Getting strategic with cash flow

Part 1

Holiday Town

Luckily, Marsha didn’t spend all of August and September worrying. She knows how important inflow and outflow are. And she took action.

She decreased the number of staff during the slow months to reduce payroll costs and sold the extra July 4th supplies back to the distributor.

The extra money in her pocket didn’t sit there long. Marsha put up flyers for Holiday Town around the neighborhood and at local hotspots, plus a giant banner on the storefront’s awning exclaiming:

"HALLOWEEN’S FAVORITE STORE!"

Her strategy worked. It wasn’t long before customers took notice of Holiday Town again, and the cash came flowing back in.
