Part 1

Holiday Town

Marsha owns a costume and party supply store called Holiday Town that specializes in seasonal celebrations, especially Halloween.

When she opened her business in late June, the number of people who came flooding through the doors for July 4th supplies was encouraging. However, August and September didn’t see many customers.

Marsha expected this. After all, there aren’t any big holidays in late summer. Still, she’s worried about Holiday Town’s inflow problem.

Sure, Halloween is right around the corner. And, sure, she has enough money to stock the store with plenty of costumes and decorations. But it won’t mean much if customers have forgotten about her business.

If word doesn’t spread about Holiday Town before October, Marsha could miss her biggest inflow opportunity.
