Equitable homeownership

Advancing equitable and sustainable homeownership

Put our experience and resources to work for you.

Our commitment to you is a commitment to them

We believe homeownership builds stronger communities. As part of our Chase Racial Equity Commitment, we aim to reverse the housing inequalities experienced by those of Black, Hispanic and Latino heritage. With that goal, we’re providing $8 billion for new home purchases in underserved communities, plus another $4 billion for refinancing to help reduce mortgage payments and support affordable rental homes.

Our pledge to equity in homeownership

"We are intentional about partnering with real estate agents, nonprofit housing counselors, builders and community advocacy groups to help close the racial gap in homeownership. Together, we can go further and truly make a significant impact.”

Cerita Battles

Head of Community and Affordable Lending, Chase Bank

Devoted to equality in our neighborhoods

We're dedicated to working with you to address the full spectrum of housing needs.

Addressing the income challenge

The median income of people in some communities is 80% or less than the median income of their surrounding areas. We want to help those low- to moderate-income earners become homeowners.

Major focus on all minority families

Equality for homeownership has been a challenge for virtually all members of minority neighborhoods. We're open for business to all customers and communities, regardless of race or income, from affordable to moderate to larger loan amounts.

Supporting our military and veterans

U.S. servicemembers, veterans and their families deserve our thanks — and our support. In addition to offering VA home loans, with a $2,000 purchase closing cost benefit, we provide a variety of mortgage options that may offer no down payment and no monthly mortgage insurance. We've also developed programs to help veterans explore their Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) benefits, and assist them with education, employment and other services.
