What reports does it provide my business?
Chase Customer Insights helps you learn more about your business by providing with several reports and insights. See what they all are below:
- Weekly Summary shows you an overview of all the modules below. It allows you to have a quick glance of all the modules below on one screen
- Sales Overview tracks your sales performance with settled sales from card spending, total transaction count, average ticket price and number of customers. For the customers it is split between new and repeat customers
- Customer Location shows you the residential zip code trends, including average distance from store to home residence of customers and top customer zip code of residence
- Customer Profile provides you insight into your customer base with average age, average income, and gender mix based on merchant’s top performing ZIP code’s demographic trends over the last week and historically versus peer benchmark
- Transaction times gives you insight into customer traffic with number of transactions, spend and average transaction size broken out by time of day and day of the week versus peers
- Shopping Methods monitors channel performance including proportion of card spending coming from in store versus online purchases and average ticket by channel versus peer benchmark

Yes, Customer Insights is free and available to you as long as you keep processing card payments with Chase Payment Solutions.
Yes, you will always have access to Customer Insights as long as you keep processing card payments with Chase Payment Solutions.
We include suggestions at the top of each page you might want to consider to help your business grow. We typically highlight opportunities for revenue growth or better efficiency. The data we use for our suggestions comes from patterns in your transaction history compared to peers in your industry.
Yes, you can see insights for each of your locations. Simply choose the location you want to see from the drop-down list at the top of the page.
Customer privacy rules require us to aggregate data to protect cardholder privacy. As a result, you must have a minimum number of unique customers before we can show you insights specific to each location. If your business doesn't meet that threshold in a given week, we'll show you insights based on a longer timeframe. If your business doesn't meet the minimum threshold even with a longer timeframe, we'll show insights for your industry as a whole. As soon your sales volume meets the minimum threshold, we'll automatically update it with your information.
No, insights are specific to each unique merchant location. We do not currently compile data across multiple merchant locations.
All insights use aggregated, anonymized transaction data, so it is not possible to see data for individual customers.
We refresh the data each day. As a result, you'll always see the most recent rolling seven day period for which we have information. We'll label the data so you'll know when those transactions occurred.
You'll always have access to the last 6 full months of data, as well as any data from the current month.
As of now, insights are only available for the last week or the last six months. For Sales Overview, the insights and information are displayed daily, weekly and monthly for the last six months for more flexibility and you can export the daily data to a CSV file for your records.
Yes, you can export the raw data into a CSV file for the Sales Overview, Customer Location and Transaction times pages. You can also print any page from your computer.
