Learn about how we deposit your funds so you know when you’re getting paid.
What is “funds availability”?
Funds availability refers to the time it takes for a deposit to become available for withdrawal. In other words, it has to do with when you get paid.
When will my funds be available?
When you get paid depends on the type of funding you have. Here’s a breakdown:
- Customers using QuickAccept® with a Chase banking account receive same-day funding
- Customers using standalone solutions (Merchant Services) with a Chase banking account receive next-day funding
- Customers with a non-Chase banking account receive funding in 2-3 business days
Know your funding
Now that you know what type of funding you have, let’s get the details.
Same day

You will receive your funds the same day, every day except Saturday, if you settle by 8 PM ET.
Next day

You will receive your funds the next business day for all transactions. This excludes weekends and holidays.
2-3 business days

A transfer is required between Chase and another financial institution, so you will receive your funds within a few business days.
Why haven’t I received my deposit?
If you settled by the cut-off time and it’s not a weekend or holiday, your transaction may be under review or your funds may be on hold. Currently, you will not receive a notification unless we need more information from you.
What does “funds on hold” mean?
A funds hold is a temporary restriction on the availability of funds. The funds are held by Chase for review, usually to protect from risk or fraud.
Why would my funds be on hold?
Here are the most common reasons why your funds might be placed on hold:
- Bank account issues preventing funds transfer
- Unusual transaction or deposit amounts
- Pending risk or credit review
We will reach out to you if we need any documents such as invoices to release your funds.
How long will my funds be on hold?
The time it takes for a funds hold to be lifted depends on the situation. Usually, your funds will be made available in a few business days. Make sure you look out for any communications from Chase in the meantime.
Chase will send an encrypted email to request for invoices or proof to your email address on file. Please make sure that we have your most up-to-date email on file and remember to check your spam.
Why would I experience delayed funding?
Some reasons for missing or delayed funding include:
- The settlement cut-off time was missed
- The deposit was rejected
- There is a funds hold on the account
