ACH debit block helps protect against unauthorized ACH debit transactions posting to your account(s). You may block all debits or add “allowable IDs” for vendors you would like to pay. You may also set a transaction limit for the vendors you allow.

Sign in to Chase Connect and choose Security, then Settings. Choose the accounts you’d like to enroll, then choose Submit. Repeat this process for each account you’d like to enroll. Next, add vendor allowable IDs for each account—adding IDs right away will help prevent any allowed debits from being blocked.

Your existing offline ACH debit block service will remain active whether or not you activate the maintenance feature online. You don't need to re-establish your activation or settings, but when you enroll online, you'll have the ability to change your ACH debit block settings. If you’re an existing ACH debit block user, you’ll see your established allowable IDs once you complete the online enrollment.

Check Protection Services (Positive Pay) reviews the checks you write against the check issuance information you provide. You can set up exception reports, review outstanding check reports and sign up for alerts.

Check Monitoring (Reverse Positive Pay) monitors the checks you write over a threshold amount you set. Anything that's over the threshold is flagged for your review.

No, you cannot enroll the same Chase Connect account in both but you may choose to have one feature on certain accounts and the other on different accounts.

For Check Protection Services and Check Monitoring, you'll receive an automated alert when your enrollment is complete. You can subscribe to cut-off time alerts all within Profile & Settings. For ACH debit block, you can subscribe to alerts that'll notify you when a transaction has been blocked. Your client service associate will need to set up these alerts for you—they cannot be set up online yet.

If you wish to unenroll in any Fraud Protection Service, please contact your client service associate or the Chase Connect Service Center at (877) 226-0071. For government entities or nonprofit organizations, call (855) 893-2223.
