"Freedom Run" to Honor U.S. Servicemen and Women



Proceeds from 4-Mile Run to Benefit USO and Honor Flight Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio – April 5, 2012 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. employees have organized a new community event to honor America's active duty servicemembers and military veterans. The Chase Memorial Freedom 4-Mile Run will take place over Memorial Day weekend, on Saturday, May 26 at 8:30 a.m., at Sharon Woods Metro Park in Westerville, Ohio. Proceeds from the race will benefit the United Services Organization (USO) and Honor Flight Columbus.

About 300 runners and walkers are expected to participate in the inaugural race, which will travel a paved path weaving through the rolling, wooded park. Top finishers will be recognized in categories including overall, age group and service veterans. A total of 48 awards will be handed out at the conclusion of the race.
