Consumers bank on invaluable smart phones
One in three consumers see their cherished smart phones as more valuable than their wedding ring, birth certificate or family heirloom, a new survey by Chase says.
That's because they're using the phones for keeping up with their friends, family and finances. That includes checking on their bank accounts while at work, on their breaks and even while dining out.
Chase has seen many more customers using its mobile app in the last year.
Across the age spectrum, consumers know they can view account balances, pay bills and transfer money with mobile banking apps. Of course, Millennials lead the way, but Boomers aren't being left behind.
