Pay your escrow shortage online. Manage your escrow shortage in just a few steps.
On screen:
On a laptop computer, a sign-in screen (showing the Chase logo) displays fillable fields to enter a username and password. A blue button reads: Sign in.

Sign In to your Chase account.
On screen:
A cursor fills in a user name and password and then clicks on the sign in button. An Accounts dashboard appears. It displays tiles labeled:
- Bank Accounts:
- Loans and Lines of Credit;
- Plan, Track, and Manage;
- (and) Help and Support.
The loans tile displays:
- Principle balance;
- Next payment due date;
- (and) Amount due.
It shows two buttons marked:
- Pay mortgage;

From your Accounts dashboard, under your Loans and Lines of Credit, select Pay Mortgage.

A cursor clicks on the Pay Mortgage button and then a pop-up box appears, labeled Schedule a Payment. The box shows:
- drop-down menus marked Payment Type and Pay From;
- fillable fields marked: Additional principle,
- and Additional escrow or shortage;
- a calendar marked Payment date;
- (and) two buttons marked Cancel and Pay it.
The cursor clicks on the Payment Type drop-down and three buttons appear, marked:
- Minimum payment due;
- Principal/escrow/fee only;
- (and) Partial amount.
On screen:
In the Payment type drop-down, select Principal/escrow/fee only. You can reference your current escrow status and payment options with your most recent escrow statement.
On screen:

Next, in the Additional escrow or shortage box, enter the escrow shortage amount you want to pay.
On screen:
The Schedule a payment box re-appears, and then the cursor fills in the amount.
On screen:
Confirm the Pay from account and the Payment date are correct. Select Pay it.
On screen:
The cursor clicks the Pay it button and then a verification box appears reading Does everything look OK? It shows details regarding the payment and two buttons marked Back and Pay it.
On screen:
Confirm everything is correct and select Pay it.
On screen:
The cursor clicks the Pay it button and then a confirmation box appears, showing two buttons marked:
- Payment activity;
- (and) Done.
On screen:
Select Done to close out of the confirmation screen.
On screen:
The cursor clicks on the Done button and then the Account screen re-appears.

Your escrow shortage payment is now scheduled!
