Set up automatic mortgage payments from any bank.

It's easy. Pay your mortgage anytime, anywhere, and from any bank.

On screen:

A computer displays the Chase.com sign-in screen, which displays:

and a button marked "Sign in."

To start, Sign in to your Chase account.

On screen:

A cursor fills in a name and account number and then clicks on the "Sign in" button.

A dashboard appears showing information regarding mortgage payments. Tabs include:

Set up automatic mortgage payments from your dashboard one of two ways...

If you have one mortgage account, select "Set-up."

On screen:

If you have more than one mortgage account, select "More."

The cursor clicks on the button marked "More" and then a drop-down menu appears with a list of options, including "Payment services."

Then select "Automatic Payments.

The cursor clicks on that button and then a page appears, labeled: "Setup Automatic Payments."

The page provides clickable fields marked:

Pay to;
Pay from;
Frequency;
Payment date;
Monthly amount due;
and more.
Transfer date;
and Memo.

On screen:

Just under the "Pay from" drop-down box, select "Add an account."

On screen:

The cursor clicks on that text and then a pop-up box appears, labeled "Add an external account."

The box displays:

a list of banks;
a search bar marked "Bank name.";
a button marked "Add account manually."
and a button marked "Next."

On screen:

Choose your non-Chase bank from the list below.

Don't see your bank? Try searching for it then select "Next."

On screen:

The cursor enters: "DAG Bank" in the search bar and then clicks on the button marked "Next.

A box appears, reading "Instant Account Verification Service Addendum." It displays:

terms and conditions;
a check-box to mark, if accepting the terms;
and two buttons marked "Back" and "Next."

To allow Chase access to your non-Chase account, review and accept to the terms.

Select "Next."

On screen:

The cursor clicks on the check-box, clicks "Next," and then a box appears, reading "DAG Bank. Tell us your login information."

The box displays:

fillable fields marked "Username," "Password," and "Re-enter Password."
and two buttons marked "Cancel" and "Submit."

Enter your non-Chase bank account username and password.

Select "Submit."

The cursor enters the information, clicks on the "Submit" button and then a box appears labeled "Choose an account you'd like to add."

The box displays:

a list of two accounts;
a fillable field marked "account nickname";
and a button marked "Next."

Select the non-Chase account you prefer to make payments from.

Give it a nickname and select "Next."

On screen:

The cursor enters the information, clicks on the "Next" button and then a verification box appears. The box is labeled "Does everything look OK?" and shows two buttons marked "Back" and "Next."

On screen:

Make sure everything is correct and click "Next."

On screen:

The cursor clicks on the "Next" button and then a confirmation box appears. The box is labeled "You're verified and added this external account."

On screen:

Your account is now added!

On screen:

Now, the pop-up box labeled "Add an external account" appears

The box displays:

a list of banks;
a search bar marked "Bank name.";
a button marked "Add account manually."
and a button marked "Next."

On screen:

Or you can add your non-Chase bank account manually.

Select the "Add account manually" option instead.

On screen:

The cursor clicks that button and then a pop-up box appears reading "Add a checking or savings account manually."

The box displays fillable fields marked:

routing number;
account number;
account type;
and more.

The box shows two buttons marked:

Back;
and Next.

Enter your non-Chase bank account details and select "Next."

On screen:

The cursor enters the information, and then clicks on the button marked "Next."

A box appears, displaying:

terms and conditions;
a clickable check-box to accept the terms;
and two buttons marked "Cancel" and "Send trial deposits."

On screen:

Review and select the terms, then select "Send Trial Deposits."

(Note trial deposits take 1 to 2 days to complete.)

On screen:

The cursor clicks the "accept terms" box and then clicks the button marked "Send Trial Deposits."

A confirmation box appears, reading "You've submitted your request for trial deposits to verify your external account."

The box displays a button marked "Close."

On screen:

Select "Close."

On screen:

The cursor clicks the button marked "Close"

Now, the dashboard appears.

On screen:

After the deposits hit your account, you'll need to verify them.

First, go to "Pay & Transfer" and select "Pay Bills."

On screen:

The cursor clicks the tab marked "Pay and Transfer and then clicks the "Pay Bills" button from the drop-down menu.

A page appears with a "Pay Bills" tab highlighted.

The page displays three other tabs marked:

Pay;
Payment activity;
(and) Settings.

The page displays tiles marked:

Payments due;
Recipients list;
(and) Recent payments.

On screen:

Then, under "Settings" select "Manage pay-from accounts."

On screen:

The cursor clicks those buttons and then a tile appears labeled "Manage external accounts."

The tile displays information about the account, its status and account type. Also, options to verify, edit, or delete the account.

The tile displays a button marked "Add external account."

On screen:

Enter the two deposits you received and select "Verify deposits."

On screen:

The cursor fills in the "amounts" fields and then clicks the button marked "Verify deposits."

Now a page appears labeled "Set up automatic payments."

It displays dropdown menus marked:

Pay from;
Frequency;
(and) For payment due.

The page displays:

a fillable field marked "additional principal";
a calendar marked "Payment date";
and two buttons marked "Cancel" and "Next."

On screen:

Your non-Chase account will now appear in the "Pay from" drop-down. Select it.

Select the frequency of your non-Chase account payments.

Then select a "For payment due" date, a payment date, and enter in any additional principal to be paid if needed.

On screen:

The cursor fills in all the required information on the page.

On screen:

Select "Next."

On screen:

The cursor clicks on the button marked "Next" and then a verification page appears, reading "Does everything look OK?"

The page displays a link marked "Chase Mortgage Automatic Payments Service Agreement" and two small clickable boxes to select after reading the Service Agreement.

The page also displays three buttons marked:

Cancel;
Back;
(and) Set up.

On screen:

Review your automatic payment details and select the Service Agreement.

On screen:

The cursor clicks on the "Service Agreement" link and then a box appears displaying:

the terms and conditions;
(and) a button marked "Close."

On screen:

Review the Service Agreement terms and hit "Close."

On screen:

The cursor clicks the "Close" button and then the pop-up box disappears.

On screen:

Agree to the Service Agreement terms by selecting the two (small, clickable) boxes, then "Set up.”

On screen:

The cursor clicks on the two small boxes and then clicks on the button marked "Set-up."

A confirmation page appears.

Your non-Chase account autopayments are now set up!
